The first preview of Disney's fairy tale Raya and the Last Dragon reveals a wonderful fantasy story.

New animated movie by Disney - Filmpage Ultrinaster

Are you ready? Walt Disney Animation Studios is running its next animated film after Ice Kingdom 2 (2019). The team will be Raya and the last dragon (Raya and the last dragon), for which the studio has been preparing us for some time now. Currently, its premiere is scheduled for March 12, 2021 and we hope that this date has already been caused by the coronavirus pandemic will not change.Initially, we saw several concepts, yesterday the first official poster came and today we were promised a teaser trailer, so it really happened. And it's worth it. Raya and the Last Dragon look gorgeous, coming up with a captivating visual style and a beautiful fantasy story that is in part similar to the one from Vaiana: The Legend of the Ocean.

Raya and the last dragon tell the story of a heroine and warrior named Raya (Kelly Marie Tran), who must save his homeland from an ancient evil. Her only chance to succeed is to find the last dragon Sisu (Awkwafina), who lost his abilities and turned into a human. Among other things, Raya has an adorable animal helper, Tuk Tuk, who stole all his attention to himself in the first preview, and otherwise it will certainly not be in the film. The first non-public demonstration was unveiled at Disney's D23 Expo last year, and viewers couldn't praise what they saw. We can look forward to an action ride full of amazing choreography fights - all set in rainy Southeast Asia. And the Sisu water dragon is said to be one of the most beautiful designs we have ever seen in the history of Disney animators. Well, let's be surprised, because the first teaser trailer hasn't shown us the kite in full beautifulness yet.

After the unveiling at the D23 Expo, certain changes took place in the composition of the creators and the cast. Originally, Cassie Steele was supposed to lend her voice to the main character, but Kelly Marie Tran recently took on the role. This will be complemented by Awkwafina, a very popular and talented actress and comedian, whom we know thanks to comedies. The filmmakers on the director's chairs also changed completely, and finally Don Hall (Big Six) and Carlos López Estrada (Blindspotting) will take care of the film. The screenplay is handled by Adele Lim (Crazy Rich Asians) and the newly announced Qui Nguyen (The Society). The original release date was scheduled for November this year, but was eventually moved to the next one in March. Not a word has been said about the release on the Disney + streaming service yet, so the film will probably not follow in the footsteps of the Pixar Soul. We will see it online on Christmas Eve. We are curious how the global situation will develop by March.
